Mithian village centre is a 5 min walk and the local pub - the Miners Arms serves excellent food and beer.

St.Agnes lies just 3 miles away. This popular village has several restaurants and pubs. It also has an array of shops where you can purchase most of your day to day grocceries.

Slightly further a field is the City of Truro which is 7 miles away and is about 20 mins drive by car. There are several large supermarkets along with the traditional Cornish shops and the normal high street names..

There is something within the surrounding area for the whole family.

		There are lots of family activities in close proximity to Mellowvean. Why not walk the idyllic Cornish Coastal Footpath or if you fancy something a little more adventurious then why not try Horse Riding and Pony Trekking on some of the Countrys best beaches. If you are a fan of water sports then why not try surfing on the countries best waves, sailing or kite surfing at one of the local water sports centres.

If you are in the mood for some evening entertainment then the world famous Minack cliff theatre is 40 miles away

There are several large gardens within a short drive or if you fancy seeing the world renowned Tresco Gardens then why not take either the Scillonian, Sky Bus or helicopter to visit the Isles of Scilly.

Of course no visit would be complete without visiting Lands End which is only 40 miles away.
